Ticket fees: Gearz charges the fee shown for your plan on each paid ticket. Stripe charges its own processing fee (currently 2.9% + $0.30in the US) on top of that — Gearz does not collect it.

Gearz keeps the fee on each ticket small and lets a plan lower it: Crew Chief is $19.99 a month for the Club, with a lower ticket fee and no member cap. Your first club starts with a 14-day free trial on either plan, so run a meet or two before you pay. If your crew only needs a group chat, you may not need Gearz yet, and that is fine.
